VEDRA WATERMILL PATH
This is a beautiful hiking trail, at only 4 km. It is a short circular route, only 1 km. Along the Merin river, different restored watermills await us. Oak trees and an amazing nature will follow you.
CARBOEIRO MONASTERY
This Romanesque monastery is located in a natural landscape of great beauty. It was built by disciples of the Maestre Mateo, architect of the Porch of Glory in Santiago de Compostela.
TOXA WATERFALL
It is considered the highest waterfall in Galicia, the Toxa Waterfall slope has a thirty-meter slop. ( Do not mistake with the island named Toxa, in Pontevedra )
SACRED PEAK
Known in ancient times as Monte Ilicino, it is directly related to the arrival of the disciples of the Apostle Santiago to bury him in the lands where he had preached.
ORTIGUEIRA PAZO (MANOR)
They are famous for growing camellias. You can visit the gardens, which include the Paseo de los Olivos ( olive path ), but also its fountains and waterfalls.
OCA PAZO (MANOR)
Located 12 km away, it belongs to the Dukes of Medinacelli. It is known as the Galician Versailles. In its gardens there are, among other curiosities, the oldest Box hedges in Europe.
