At 20 km. you can visit the Toxa Waterfalls, which are considered with their thirty metres the highest in Galicia. You can also visit the Carboeiro monastery.
At 12 km. you will find the Pazo of Oca. A pazo is a kind of castle where Galician nobility lived.Its gardens are compared to those of Versalles.
At 10 km. you have Santiago de Compostela. This city is a cultural and religious centre
At 9 km you can visit the Gres Isles. They are at Ponteledesma. They are formed by the Ulla River. Here there is also a roman bridge.
For those you like trekking, you have many paths along the Ulla River, or following some water mills
Nearby you will find the Ortigueira Pazo that dedicates to the camellia growth
You can go for a walk from the hotel to the Pico Sacro Mountain. You can see Santiago de Compostela and the Ulla Valley from the top. You can also look for two caves that Romans made on it .
